AHS, a distinguished real estate company, is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Head Butler (House Manager) to lead our team in providing exceptional service and management of exclusive properties. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of household operations, ensuring that all functions run smoothly while delivering exemplary service to our esteemed clientele. Your expertise will help create a warm, welcoming environment for residents and guests alike.

Responsibilities

    1. Household Management:
      • Supervise and manage household staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
      • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring it is always in pristine condition.
      • Manage household budgets and expenses, including tracking and reporting.
      • Coordinate with external service providers (e.g., cleaners, maintenance workers).
    2. Personal Assistance:
      • Provide personalized service to the principals, anticipating their needs and preferences.
      • Assist with wardrobe management, including packing and unpacking for travel.
      • Handle personal errands and tasks as required.
    3. Travel Coordination:
      • Plan and organize travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
      • Ensure all travel arrangements are seamless and meet the principals' expectations.
      • Accompany the principals on trips, providing support and ensuring their comfort.
    4. Event Planning:
      • Organize and manage private events and gatherings, including coordinating with vendors and staff.
      • Ensure events run smoothly and meet the principals' standards.
    5. Security and Confidentiality:
      • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
      • Ensure the security of the household and principals, including managing security systems and protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Butler, House Manager, or in a similar high-level household management role
  • In-depth knowledge of service etiquette, household management, and maintenance tasks
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency with household management software and technology
  • Valid driver's license
