Oracle Cloud Techno Financial Consultant
The Oracle EBS Finance Techno-Functional Consultant will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions within the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance modules. This role involves configuring, customizing, and supporting Oracle Financials applications, ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities:
• Module Configuration:
Lead the configuration and implementation of Oracle EBS Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and iExpenses.
• Business Process Analysis:
Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend process improvements to streamline financial operations.
• Documentation & Training:
Prepare detailed functional specifications, test plans, and user documentation. Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
• Support & Maintenance:
Provide ongoing support for month-end and year-end financial processes, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Technical Responsibilities:
• Customization & Development:
Design and develop custom solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Workflows, and BI Publisher.
• Integration & Interfaces:
Develop and manage integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and compliance with MD050/MD070 standards.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
Develop and execute test plans for system enhancements and integrations.
• Documentation:
Maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and configurations.
Collaboration & Support:
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business users, IT, and vendors, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Post-Implementation Support:
Provide post-implementation support and address change requests in a timely manner.
• System Upgrades & Compliance:
Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring compliance with Oracle standards.
Required Skills:
• Functional Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of Oracle EBS Finance modules and business processes.
• Technical Proficiency:
Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Workflows, and BI Publisher. Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and XML Publisher is a plus.
• Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving:
Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications:
Oracle EBS R12 Financials certification.
• Experience:
Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials and integration tools like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is advantageous.
• Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
