Position: Virtual Assistant

Type of contract: Independent contractor

Position Overview:

As a virtual assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys and their teams with administrative and operational tasks. You’ll be responsible for streamlining day-to-day processes, handling client communications, managing schedules, and ensuring top-tier virtual support that allows law firms to focus on what they do best—practicing law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and organize meetings for legal professionals.
  • Respond to emails, client inquiries, and follow-ups in a professional and timely manner.
  • Handle data entry, document preparation, and file organization using cloud-based platforms.
  • Conduct legal research and draft routine correspondence when required.
  • Assist in onboarding and maintaining client databases and CRM systems.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and case status updates as needed.
  • Coordinate with Legal Soft’s internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a virtual assistant, legal assistant, or similar administrative role.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and CRM systems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with time management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with discretion.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
  • Bonus: Experience supporting law firms or knowledge of legal terminology.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with legal management tools such as Clio, MyCase, or PracticePanther
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • Knowledge of case intake processes, calendaring, and legal document formatting
