1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to HireHere. By accessing or using our website, services, or platform (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HireHere ("we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

HireHere is a job board platform that connects job seekers with employers. We provide:

  • A platform for companies to post job listings
  • Tools for candidates to search and discover job opportunities
  • Features for candidates to create profiles and receive job recommendations
  • Job posting services with various pricing tiers and promotional options

HireHere acts as an intermediary platform and is not a party to any employment relationship between candidates and employers.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

3.3 Account Types

  • Candidate Accounts: For job seekers to search jobs, create profiles, and receive recommendations
  • Company Accounts: For employers to post jobs, manage listings, and access analytics

4. Job Postings

4.1 Posting Requirements

Companies posting jobs agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about the job opportunity
  • Comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Not post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive job listings
  • Include a valid application URL or contact method

4.2 Content Standards

Job postings must not contain:

  • Illegal content or promotion of illegal activities
  • Discriminatory language or requirements
  • False or misleading information
  • Excessive promotional content unrelated to the job
  • Malicious links or malware

4.3 Review and Removal

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any job posting that violates these Terms or our policies. Job postings may be removed without notice or refund if they breach these Terms.

5. Payments and Pricing

5.1 Pricing

HireHere offers various pricing tiers for job postings, including free and paid options. Paid features may include extended listing duration, featured placement, and additional promotional tools. Current pricing is available on our job posting page.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All prices are in the currency displayed at checkout unless otherwise stated.

5.3 Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our service, all payments are generally non-refundable once a job posting goes live. However, we may provide refunds at our discretion in cases of technical errors, duplicate postings, or service failures on our part. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of payment.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to collect data from the Service
  • Post spam, malware, or malicious content
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Circumvent any security measures or access restrictions
  • Use the Service to collect personal information about users without consent

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, functionality, and all content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by HireHere and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 User Content License

By posting content on HireHere (job listings, profiles, etc.), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

7.3 Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you post. However, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant us the license described above.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union.

8.1 Resume and CV Data

Important: Your Resume Privacy

When you upload your resume or CV to HireHere, we use this information exclusively for the purpose of improving our job recommendation algorithm to provide you with better-matched job opportunities.

We will never share, sell, or distribute your resume to employers, recruiters, or any third parties without your explicit permission. Your resume remains confidential and is used solely within our system to:

  • Analyze your skills, experience, and qualifications
  • Match you with relevant job opportunities
  • Improve the accuracy of our job recommendations
  • Personalize your job search experience

You maintain full control over your resume and can remove it from our system at any time through your profile settings. When you apply for a job through HireHere, you will be directed to the employer's application system where you can choose what information to share with them directly.

Your resume data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is strictly limited to authorized personnel for the purposes of system maintenance and improvement.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, job application systems, or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of use of any third-party sites. When you click on a third-party link or apply for a job, you leave our Service and are subject to the terms and policies of that third party.

We use third-party services including Stripe for payments and Google services for analytics and advertising. These services have their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Job listings are accurate, current, or from legitimate employers
  • Any job application will result in employment
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • Defects will be corrected promptly

We are not responsible for verifying the accuracy of job postings or the legitimacy of employers. Candidates should exercise due diligence when applying for jobs and should report any suspicious activity.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIREHERE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Loss of business opportunities or employment
  • Costs of procurement of substitute services
  • Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account
  • Issues arising from employer-candidate interactions

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HireHere and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any rights of another party, or (d) any content you post on the Service.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. We may also terminate accounts that remain inactive for extended periods.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where HireHere is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in our registered jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email to registered users. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

16. General Provisions

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and HireHere regarding the Service.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16.3 Waiver

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
