About the Role

What You’ll Do:

  • Source Exploration: Identify and explore public and compliant channels for 3D model assets.
  • Crawler Development: Design and develop high-performance web crawlers to automate the end-to-end pipeline, including metadata extraction, 3D model file downloading, and data archiving.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and optimize distributed crawler systems; monitor node health to ensure system stability and data consistency under high-concurrency scraping scenarios.
  • Requirement Optimization: Understand the context and technical challenges of 3D Generative AI to identify and optimize data acquisition requirements.

What We're looking for:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Crawler Experience: 1+ years of experience in web crawler development; experience with large-scale data collection and distributed crawler systems is highly preferred.
  • Database Skills: Proficiency in using MySQL/PostgreSQL for metadata storage, and MongoDB/Redis for intermediate data management and deduplication queue maintenance.

Nice to have:

  • 3D Domain Knowledge: Understanding of basic 3D computer graphics and common 3D file formats (e.g., glTF/GLB, FBX), or experience with scripting in Blender (bpy), Unity, or Unreal Engine.
  • Multimedia Scraping: Experience in large-scale scraping of multimedia assets (images, videos, or 3D models); familiarity with large file handling strategies using Object Storage (e.g., AWS S3, Cloudflare R2).
  • AI Experience: Prior experience participating in Generative AI-related projects.
