Scope of the Role

The Part-Time Video Editor will be responsible for crafting emotionally resonant video content that connects with audiences on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. You’ll bring creative briefs to life with strong storytelling, refined pacing, and a deep sense of emotional tone.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social platforms.
• Translate creative concepts into engaging stories aligned with brand voice.
• Collaborate with the social, creative, and brand teams to ensure visual and tonal consistency.
• Add graphics, captions, sound design, and motion elements to enhance storytelling.
• Repurpose long-form content into optimised short-form highlights or reels.
• Stay up to date with editing trends, meme culture, and emerging formats.
• Manage footage, file organisation, and project timelines for efficient delivery.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 2–4+ years of video editing experience in a social-first environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong grasp of social media formats, pacing, and narrative structure.
• Proven ability to craft emotionally compelling content.
• High attention to detail and adaptability to brand tone.
• Collaborative and proactive working style in remote environments.
• Bonus: Experience editing for dating, lifestyle, or relationship-driven brands.
