Overview
FWD People is a full-service strategic marketing agency delivering meaningful and measurable results in the health and non-profit sectors. We take pride in being our clients' trusted strategic partner—staying ahead of the curve, and leveraging our expertise and foresight to help them navigate change and seize opportunities. We approach every challenge with a commitment to innovation, excellence, and empathy, and we seek the same qualities in our leaders. As a fast-growing, senior team, we're excited to welcome more forward-thinking individuals who will help us drive growth, foster positive change within our client's industries, and have fun along the way.
We’re looking for an Account Manager who can keep our work moving forward. You'll be the connective tissue between Account, Creative, and Ops -- ensuring clients feel supported, teams stay aligned, and projects are structured for success from kickoff through delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who is relationship-oriented and operationally minded: someone who communicates clearly, manages details without losing sight of the big picture, and brings clarity and calm to fast-paced, multi-workstream environments. If you're proactive, collaborative, and energized by helping clients and teams do their best work, we'd love to meet you.
At FWD, we care deeply about our work and the people we work with — we take our no-jerk policy seriously. You’ll thrive here if you bring ownership without ego, a sense of humor, and a love of building brands that matter.
What You'll Do
Build strong, trusting relationships through proactive communication, clarity, preparedness, and follow-through. Ensuring clients feel supported, informed, and confident in the work.
Keep projects organized and moving. You'll own the momentum of each project -- from clean file organization and version control to tracking deliverables and guiding teams through any legal/regulatory steps — ensuring everyone knows where things stand at all times.
Support project financial health. Build smart, realistic estimates, while monitoring burn, scope, and forecasts so you can spot risks early and help teams adjust before they become problems.
Manage timelines and coordination. Create timelines that actually work, keep all partners aligned to them, and proactively shift schedules as priorities evolve so delivery stays smooth and predictable.
Help with resourcing and prioritization. Work closely with Operations to match the right people to the right projects, monitor capacity, and surface any conflicts or bottlenecks early with thoughtful solutions.
Own project tracking. Maintain accurate, useful project data within our PM system, keeping tasks, timelines, and status updates current — and recommend workflow improvements as we continue to scale.
-
Contribute to better ways of working. Maintain accurate project tracking within our PM system and contribute ideas that strengthen our workflows and operational discipline as we grow.
What You'll Bring
4+ years of account and/or project management experience within advertising, marketing, or creative agency.
A strong understanding of how creative work moves — from strategy and concepting through production and delivery.
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while staying calm, clear, and organized.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate easily across disciplines and seniority levels.
High attention to detail and a knack for helping teams stay grounded and focused.
Comfort with project management platforms, tracking tools, and standard business applications.
Financial fluency — you can read scopes, estimates, burn reports, and spot issues before they become problems.
A solutions-forward, steady, thoughtful approach, especially when things get messy.
Bonus Points If:
You’ve used resource management or traffic tools.
You’re familiar with digital, video, and print production workflows.
You’ve worked in highly regulated industries like healthcare or animal health.
