About the Company
Our client operates a technology-enabled merchandising and fulfillment platform serving high-value B2B customers. The company partners with vendors and internal teams to manage complex order workflows, ensuring timely delivery, operational accuracy, and strong client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Role Overview
The Account Manager will own the end-to-end execution of assigned client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams. This role is highly operational and detail-driven, focused on managing live orders, coordinating fulfillment, and ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. You will oversee multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, balancing client communication with backend execution. The role requires strong ownership, organization, and the ability to work independently in a remote, high-volume environment. Candidates who thrive here are proactive, process-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workflows at once.
Your Impact:
You will ensure seamless execution of client orders from intake through final delivery, directly impacting client satisfaction and retention. Your work will help maintain operational accuracy, reduce fulfillment issues, and ensure vendors meet production timelines. By owning account workflows and resolving issues proactively, you will support smooth cross-functional collaboration and improve overall delivery efficiency. Your attention to detail and follow-through will be critical in maintaining trust with high-value B2B clients.
Core Responsibilities
Client Account Ownership – 35%
- Serve as the primary point of contact for 1–2 high-value client accounts.
- Manage approximately 20 active accounts or projects at various stages.
- Maintain professional, clear, and timely client communication.
- Ensure expectations are met across timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
Order & Fulfillment Management – 35%
- Review, edit, and process incoming orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Route orders to appropriate vendors and track fulfillment progress.
- Maintain accurate order documentation, timelines, and records.
- Ensure all milestones are executed on schedule from intake to delivery.
Vendor Coordination & Issue Resolution – 20%
- Act as the main liaison for vendor-side account coordination.
- Manage escalations related to delays, production issues, or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal support and operations teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure smooth execution across all fulfillment stages.
Process Improvement & Internal Collaboration – 10%
- Identify inefficiencies in account and fulfillment workflows.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and documentation.
- Provide feedback loops to internal teams to improve execution quality.
Requirements
Must-Haves (Required)
- 2–4 years of experience in account management, project management, or order management.
- Experience supporting B2B clients or accounts.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Proficiency with standard business tools and collaboration platforms.
- Availability to work US time zones with Eastern and Pacific overlap.
Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
- Experience in merchandising, supply chain, production, or fulfillment environments.
- Background in vendor coordination or operational account ownership.
- Experience working with e-commerce or order management platforms.
