The Role

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role works closely with clients to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful accounting and tax services.

This is a hybrid with flexibility and responsibility for managing multiple clients and deadlines.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare individual and business tax returns and support tax planning initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Handle payroll, sales tax, and related compliance filings
• Identify discrepancies, trends, and risks in financial data
• Communicate financial information clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
• Utilize accounting and tax software efficiently, with a focus on automation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with individual and business tax preparation
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High ethical standards and sound professional judgment

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of general accounting experience
• 3+ years of business tax preparation experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Experience with Intuit ProConnect

• Salary range: $45,000–$65,000
