The Opportunity 
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant with 2+ years of experience. In this role, you will manage accounts receivable and payable, generate invoices, handle expense reports, and ensure overall financial accuracy for the company. This is a full-time, on-site position in our Vancouver office, Monday to Friday, where you will collaborate closely with various teams to support smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Generate and issue invoices for services rendered.
  • Regularly update Google Sheets related to AR, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Bank and credit card monthly reconciliations. 
  • Review and process employees’ expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Record all transactions and expenses in QuickBooks Online.
  • Verify receipts, check for completeness, and ensure proper recording of taxes.
  • Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Perform accounts payable functions as needed which include purchase orders, bill creation, and bill payments.
  • Assist in month-end close processes and reconciliations.
  • Provide clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams regarding billing and financial inquiries.
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to liaise with internal teams and external clients.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online) and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, and Google Sheets).
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
