Accounts Payable Intern

We are seeking a committed and collaborative Accounts Payable Intern to join our dynamic team at KFC Rohloff Group. This role offers hands-on exposure to the financial operations of a leading franchise group, with a focus on supporting the accounts' payable function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, preparing supplier payments accurately and on time.

What You'll Be Cooking Up:

• Accurately process supplier invoices in a timely manner.
  
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
  
• Perform monthly supplier reconciliations and address related queries.
  
• Assist with the preparation and execution of weekly and monthly payment runs.
  
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and VAT regulations.
  
• Maintain organized and audit-ready records and documentation.
  
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders

What You Bring to the Table:

• 1+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
  
• Minimum of a Finance or Accounting certificate/diploma, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• Strong numerical proficiency with a solid understanding of VAT regulations and invoice processing controls.
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Business Central and Infraspeak is advantageous.
  
• Highly organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with suppliers and internal teams.
  
• A proactive, solution-oriented team player with strong problem-solving abilities.
