Accounts Payable Officer (Xero) - Work from home/Dayshift

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll manage accounts payable processes, perform reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Xero and Lightyear. Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Management
• Process invoices, expense claims, and payment disbursements accurately and on time.
• Maintain up-to-date accounts payable records.
• Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements and accounts payable records.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Collaboration & Analysis
• Work closely with the Financial Controller to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
• Deliver regular updates on accounts payable activities.
• Compliance & Systems
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
• Utilize Xero and Lightyear to carry out accounting tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Xero and Lightyear.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively.
