Job Description
The Account Executive, Health Systems is an individual contributor role responsible for being a true hunter in a defined territory selling to integrated delivery networks. This position is responsible for leading a complex sales cycle which includes working closely with internal stakeholders such as: clinical, product development, IT, Training, Implementation, Client Success and Marketing.
As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:
- Ability to get in front of the health system “C-suite” and drive strategic conversations and presentations around large enterprise partnerships, while building clinical demand for our probe and workflow solution at the ground level (Departments/service lines within a hospital)
- Create a strategic sales plan, build your pipeline, identify new sales opportunities within your territory, and close business to obtain your defined quota
- Manage a continuous forecast through Salesforce.com using our defined process and procedures for tracking opportunities, activities and tasks
- Vast knowledge and experience across the healthcare landscape, including: value-based care delivery, fee-for-service, technology integrations, physician work-flow and payers
- Be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, agile and fast paced environment
- Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities
Qualifications
Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field required
- 5+ years of experience selling medical SaaS or a combination of both medical device and SaaS into health systems managing your own defined territory
- Strong rolodex of c-suite relationships within the healthcare market and the ability to leverage those relationships for new partnerships with Butterfly
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, customer service, relationships management, time management and team building skills
- Expert in administrative technology: Salesforce CRM, G Suite, Slack, Asana and other technology tools
- Advanced Presentation Skills
- Strong ability and a proven track record managing a quota and pipeline
- Willingness to travel up to 75%
Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t!):
- Experience selling both hardware and software into integrated delivery networks
- Intellectually curious, strategic, and thrive on diving into complex problems, you develop and articulate clear fact-driven recommendations
- Experience in a fast-paced startup a plus
- Experience exceeding sales targets with a proven ability to generate in excess of $1M - $2M in sales

Location:
This is a remote position with up to 75% travel required. We are looking to hire one position in the Southern California Region. This position will be remote, however the candidate we will hire must already be located in one of the following cities:
- Los Angeles (and surrounding areas)
- Orange County
- San Diego

Compensation
Minimum full-time salary range between $100,000 - $130,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, years of experience and market demand.
For this role, we are only considering candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States and who do not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
