Agile Scrum Master / Software Development Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership & Team Enablement
- Promote Agile/Scrum values and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to ensure clarity and engagement.
Project & Vendor Management
- Oversee all phases of the SDLC, ensuring deliverables meet scope, quality, budget, and timeline.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate deliverables, and resolve conflicts across multiple workstreams.
Strategic Planning & Risk Mitigation
- Develop project roadmaps, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
- Identify and mitigate risks, lead contingency planning, and escalate issues when necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide transparent updates and manage expectations effectively.
Technical & Compliance Oversight
- Support requirements gathering, integration planning, and solution validation.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
Reporting & Documentation
- Track progress using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, plans, decisions, and lessons learned.
Change Management & Collaboration
- Drive organizational change initiatives and facilitate alignment across teams.
- Foster a positive team environment through strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- 4+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven success managing large-scale, multi-phase software development projects.
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Monday, Asana).
- Strong vendor management, negotiation, and performance oversight skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Experience in risk management and prioritizing in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, business, or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Additional certifications such as SAFe Agilist or PMP.
- Experience in faith-based or non-profit organizations.
