What You ‘ll Be Doing:

  • Application software development of new features, unit test, integration, verification and documentation.
  • Comply with the engineering pipeline.
  • Properly and timely contributing to the task/issue management platform of the team.
  • Ensure timely deliveries.
  • Undertake software problem solving/debugging.
  • Collaborate with other members of the software development team and technical experts.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor/University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline.
  • At least two (2) years of proven working experience in Software Engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Greek.
  • Experience in software development/programming:

o   Excellent knowledge of object-oriented techniques, data structures & design patterns.

o   C++ with fair knowledge of the language specification and standard libraries and templates.

o   Proficient understanding of Git.

  • Experience in Windows/Linux programming and its development ecosystem (scripting languages, toolchains) is essential.
  • Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates).

Desired:

  • A post-graduate degree (MSc, PhD) in a relevant domain/topic with a strong focus on SW design and development will be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with Qt application framework.
  • Experience with UI development.
  • Good understanding of Geographical Information Systems.

  • Self-motivated with an aptitude to problem solving and ability to drive difficult issues to conclusion in support of team goals.
  • Ability to lead aspects of design / delivery activities in accordance with project plans and processes.
  • Very good planning and time-management skills.
  • High sense of accountability and great ability to work effectively both independently and within the team.
  • Interest in the defense domain.
