Application Support Engineer

Our client is a Portuguese online gaming brand. They are looking to reinforce their IT team with a professional who will report to the IT Team Lead and whose main mission will be the implementation and management of IT systems, networks, and applications that support the business operations.

Responsabilities:

• Oversee the integration of IT systems, perform configurations when necessary, and manage information flow between development teams and suppliers.
• Ensure the integrity of essential hardware and software applications.
• Conduct regular system audits in collaboration with external auditors.
• Check and monitor system security on a regular basis.
• Identify, monitor, and resolve issues.
• Document technical system configurations, IT procedures, and policies, as well as register system changes and updates.
• Prepare technical incident reports on IT systems (in English and Portuguese).
• Interpret and analyze reports in XML format.
• Systems Administration (Windows Server and Linux Server), desktops (Windows and macOS), network administration and network assets.

Requirements

• Knowledge of web platform development
• Knowledge of front-end development – HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript and frameworks
• Knowledge of Java, Python, PHP, and SQL programming languages
• Knowledge of AWS/Google Cloud technologies
• General knowledge of database systems (MySQL/MSSQL Server)
• Web server configuration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (mandatory)
• Fluent spoken and written English (mandatory)
• Flexible working hours
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
