Caseware International Inc. is hiring an Applied Data Scientist to help deliver AI-powered, data-driven capabilities across our cloud platform.
This role is embedded within the Product organization, working in close partnership with Product Management, Engineering, Design, and the broader Data & Analytics function. You will focus on applying machine learning and applied AI to real customer workflows—building production-grade models and AI-enabled capabilities that materially improve efficiency, quality, and professional judgment for accounting and audit professionals.
The emphasis is on applied, trustworthy AI over theoretical research. You will work with complex, real-world data and collaborate in a product-led environment where AI and data science are tightly integrated into how products are conceived, built, governed, and scaled.

You will be responsible for applying data science and machine learning to high-impact customer problems across Caseware’s cloud platform. This includes working with large, heterogeneous datasets generated by customer workflows, documents, configurations, and system interactions, and transforming them into trusted, explainable, and production-ready AI-powered capabilities.

You will partner closely with:

•Product Managers and Subject Matter Domain Experts to frame problems, define success metrics, and prioritize opportunities
•Engineering to operationalize models and integrate them into scalable, secure systems
•Design to ensure insights and AI-powered features are understandable, usable, and trusted by professionals
In this role, you will contribute to establishing strong, repeatable patterns and standards for how applied data science and AI are practiced within a modern, product-led organization.
