Architect - TCP Optimization

Background : Considering last mile challenges like bandwidth limitation, signal variation with applications like Video, Gaming which requires low latency & sporadic high throughput, Individual has to come up with innovative solutions to optimize the application’s quality of experience by improving the transport layer without impacting the interoperability. Designing improved solutions which should work today by considering systems and networks constraints.

Responsibility :

Lead/Architect: Lead the Team & build the expert team to Deliver Solution to Terminal product line.

Essential Skills required:

Ø TCP/IP Layer. Advanced congestion control and flow control techniques

Ø Flow control understanding of FQ, FQ-CoDEL, TCP-Pacing techniques is a major plus.

Ø Advanced tools for congestion control, flow control algorithm analysis.

Ø Understanding of Optimization Technique under different condition like (Congestion, link transiency, Wifi, etc).

Ø Understanding the Network layer in kernel & Hand on experience on working of Kernel.

Ø Good Knowledge in Linux, C.

Good to have:

Ø Android/iOS Framework Knowledge

Ø Systems knowledge in terms of kernel parameters which impacts transport layer performance.

Ø Experience working on BBR, LEDBAT, MPTCP, QUIC, SPDY is a major plus.

Ø Patent & papers on TCP Congestion or Transport Optimization.

Qualifications

B.Tech/M.Tech : from a Reputed institute and 8-20 years of relevant experience in Large organization.

Ø Fast learner and ability to work in a fast paced and high growth environment

Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skill

Ø Very Good Team Player

Ø Willing to Travel to Customer location in China
