Key Responsibilities:
Commercial:
- Liaise with brand principals and suppliers
- Assist in planning, coordinating and executing all trade shows.
- Collaborates with sales team for specific strategies for clients.
- Responsible to work out annual/quarter/month brand planning with other key departments and making sure day-to-day job tasks are executed and working towards the brand plan
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon consumer needs and spending habits
- Assist with the analysis of various research data in order to make certain key projections and decisions related to the brand and drive sales growth
- Propose actions to recover risk and maximize opportunities with other departments at category and line level
Marketing:
- Responsible on brand strategies, includes the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term
- Assist in coordinating cross-functional activities related to consumer and marketing programs (including brand strategic planning, market positioning) and planning processes, manage timelines, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables
- Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding
- Oversee the production of magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, email campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, road shows and liaising with designers, copywriters, media buyers and printers
Merchandising:
- Assist in coordinating cross-functional activities related to consumer and marketing programs (including product segmentation, pricing, promotion) and planning processes, manage timelines, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables
- Monitor sell-out dates against all products
- Manage the range plan in season reflecting any changes based on current trade
- Review the previous season and capture lessons learned for future improvement
- Assist in developing the quarterly plan at category/season level that reflects the best possible mix of products to deliver the KPI’s
- Assist with product development, pricing, and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities
- Handle supply/production problems as and when they arise
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Marketing or equivalent
- At least 3 years working experience in related field
- Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Willing to work in Damansara Heights
