Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

for Vione Hotel in Paros

About the role:

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will play a significant role in managing the food and beverage operations of the Vione Hotel. This position requires strong leadership skills to supervise, guide, and support the F&B team while ensuring guests receive top-quality service and product standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the F&B outlets, including restaurants and bars, ensuring exceptional guest experiences
  • Work with the F&B Manager to develop and implement F&B strategies, budgets, and promotion plans
  • Supervise and train staff, ensuring they adhere to hotel standards and provide excellent service
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as food hygiene standards
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints swiftly and professionally
  • Assist in menu planning and staff scheduling to maintain efficient operations
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings and training sessions

Requirements

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage management within a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of Greek and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and MS Office
  • Passion for providing exceptional guest service and experience in handling complaints effectively
