What You'll Be Doing

• You’ll work closely with our CFO and take ownership of a broad range of finance activities.

• You’ll handle purchase invoices, customer invoicing and payments, ensuring everything runs accurately and on time.

• You’ll support the month-end closing process and prepare clear monthly financial reports.

• You’ll work with our People & Culture team on operational topics, including salary payments and contract management.

• You’ll be responsible for VAT filings and other recurring finance obligations.

• Alongside the day-to-day work, you’ll help improve and professionalize our finance setup. This includes optimizing financial systems, improving monthly reporting and supporting the setup and further development of Exact Online as part of our 2026 projects.

This is a broad, hands-on role where you are encouraged to think along, ask questions and propose smart solutions.

About you 

• You are someone who enjoys responsibility, works accurately and feels at home in a dynamic environment

• HBO working and thinking level with education in Finance or Accounting and 2-5 years of relevant working experience

• Solid knowledge of Dutch GAAP accounting principles

• Experience with VAT and payroll tax filings

• Experience with Exact Online and strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets

• Experience with Younium, Bright Analytics, Personio and/or Loket is a plus

• Accurate, well-organized and proactive working style

• Comfortable working with short communication lines

• You’re proficient in both Dutch and English

• Curious, eager to learn and willing to pick things up independently after some explanation

• Not afraid to ask questions and come up with smart, practical solutions

• Salary range of €40,000–€55,000 per year (incl. holiday allowance), based on experience

• A contract for 32–40 hours per week
