JOB SUMMARY:
Associate Director, HR works closely with the business and HR teams to provide strategic leadership and support, delivering a world-class employee experience to JioStar’s talent. This includes designing and executing talent strategies in alignment with business strategies, ensuring managers receive the necessary support and facilitating positive employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle. You will play an active role in understanding the business, solving problems, and interpreting various workplace situations within the context of talent practices, policies, processes, and employment law. You are a subject matter expert, and/or may manage large-scale key projects across teams, while coaching and directing a team of HR members to achieve business and talent objectives for multiple complex businesses or a large division within a segment.

Our HR Business Partners are the front-line business advisors and partners at JioStar. The team enables group and business units aligned talent strategies to enable our businesses thrive and succeed. They act as a bridge between the HR function and various business units in the organization. Some of the key aspects of HR Business partnering are having strategic alignment with the business, employee engagement, change management, digital transformation, DE&I, talent management, L&D and managing conflicts/problem solving.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
Enabling Business StrategiesAlign talent outcomes with business priorities; You will gain a deep understanding of business strategy, enabling you to translate it into talent strategy for multiple complex businesses.Creative talent solutions that impact both business and employee experience will be developed and driven by your efforts. This includes organizational transformation, engagement programs, recognition initiatives, performance management, learning and development, and retention strategies.Collaborative integration with stakeholders and Centers of Excellence (CoE) functional partners like Talent Acquisition, Organization and Talent Solutions, Compensation & Benefits, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Employee Relations, and HR Operations will be facilitated by you to promote talent-led solutions.As required, company-wide initiatives and events will be championed by you for your business unit.Periodic reviews of headcount metrics will be conducted by you, leveraging workforce insights, evidence-based research, and HR & business metrics to aid in decision-making and influence business solutions.You will manage multiple priorities and execute work in complex and matrixed segments/functions.Fostering Leadership SuccessYou will anticipate the business cycle to help influence and engage with business leaders more effectively.You will build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with employees and leaders. Influencing senior business leaders to take a long-term view to engage and retain top talent will be a key role for you. You will work closely with leaders to enhance morale, productivity, and organizational effectiveness.As a trusted advisor, you will guide business leaders and employees while leading the implementation of ongoing succession and development plans for the organization.Managing the communication and transition plan for senior leaders undergoing significant business changes will be your responsibility.You will lead and champion an open and inclusive work environment true to the core values of JioStar.Shaping Employee ExperienceYou will ensure that people have the right skills, tools, and talents to perform their roles effectively.Developing and driving strategies that foster an environment where all employees are respected and valued will be one of your responsibilities.You will advise leaders and employees on adhering to policies and practices that encourage openness, trust, appreciation, and respect.Ensuring employees are supported in finding how to access tools and documents that provide information about policies and practices for the company will also be part of your role.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Postgraduate or graduate in HR or Psychology6 years of experience as an HRBP/ COE experienceExperience of working in high growth, disruptive industries
