Associate Lead Generation Specialist, Temporary (Onsite - 5 days per week)

Overview:

This role will unlock new business opportunities by finding contact information for potential cannabis business clients. As an associate lead generation specialist, you will be responsible for researching point of contact information for potential clients.  A list of potential clients will be provided to the associate lead generation specialist and it is your responsibility to qualify the contacts and replenish the sales team with new leads.

The impact you'll make:

  • Conduct online and phone research to discover contact details to share with the sales team.
  • Collect and compile contact information for assigned cannabis business leads.
  • Help with licensing and other administrative work as needed in Revenue.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the collected data.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate notes on all interactions with leads.
  • Update CRM or lead management systems regularly to reflect the latest status and information.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales team to help improve lead conversion strategies.
  • Track key performance metrics related to lead generation and appointment setting.
  • Report on the effectiveness of lead generation strategies and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Ensure all lead generation activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Additional tasks may be incorporated into your daily workflow to support the broader needs of the organization, including those related to other verticals or markets the company is targeting.
  • Ability to meet or exceed daily and weekly key performance indicators

What you've accomplished:

  • 1 year of work experience 
  • Familiarity with Google Spreadsheets
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Previous online research experience

Bonus points: 

  • Previous cannabis industry experience 
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Lead generation or sales team experience preferred

The base pay for this position is $21.00 per hour
