Associate Principal Engineer,LLM Application, Playwright with JavaScript

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 10 years +
• Strong hands-on expertise with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and API automation using REST Assured, Postman along LLM Application Frameworks (Strong)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI.
• Strong experience designing and implementing scalable, reusable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API testing.
• Excellent understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, QA processes, test data management, mocks/stubs, and environment strategies.
• Experience in cloud-based testing and familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Ability to set up governance frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting processes for automation initiatives.
• Proven experience working with senior stakeholders, presenting automation ROI, and aligning automation priorities with business goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor teams, conduct code reviews, lead workshops, and build automation capability across the organization.
• Adaptability to new technologies; exposure to AI/ML in automation or self-healing frameworks is a plus.
• Team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across multiple project teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Defining and implementing the automation strategy and roadmap across multiple ongoing client projects.
• Understanding client business use cases and translating them into effective automation design and strategy.
• Identifying automation opportunities, evaluating tools, and selecting the best-fit technologies aligned with project needs.
• Mapping technical decisions to business requirements and communicating them clearly to developers and stakeholders.
• Establishing governance models, best practices, KPIs, and maturity benchmarks for automation across the account.
• Designing and reviewing automation architecture, frameworks, and high-level technical solutions to ensure scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
• Collaborating closely with DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and improve overall release quality.
• Conducting automation reviews and providing insights, reports, and ROI metrics to client QA heads and senior leadership.
• Reviewing design and architecture for scalability, security, usability, NFRs, and ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Performing root-cause analysis and resolving issues raised during code reviews or execution cycles.
• Conducting POCs to validate tool selections, frameworks, and architecture decisions for automation solutions.
• Enabling and mentoring QA teams through technical workshops, code reviews, and establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE) for automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
