Annual Salary: USD 80,000 - USD 100,000
Type: Full-time
Reports to: Social Lead
About this Role:
As part of our transition to bringing social in-house, we’re hiring our first Associate Social Media Engagement Manager to help shape how Nex shows up for parents every day, and during our biggest moments.
The Associate Social Media Engagement Manager owns the day-to-day execution of community management across Nex’s social channels while collaborating closely on strategy. You’ll be the frontline voice of the brand, engaging parents, surfacing insights, and ensuring our social community feels responsive, welcoming, and on-brand.
As Nex scales, this role will also support game launches, IP partnerships, and brand collaborations, helping balance product education, partner messaging, and brand voice across a dynamic content calendar. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our community experience remains clear, cohesive, and authentic — even as messaging becomes more complex.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands modern parenting, thrives in fast-paced environments, and brings strong judgment, empathy, and brand voice instincts to everything they do.
Social Engagement Across All Channels: Execute daily community management across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Reddit, and emerging platforms by monitoring conversations, responding to comments and DMs in a relatable, social-first and brand aligned voice, escalating customer service issues to CX, amplifying brand love moments, strategically participating in relevant audience conversations, and supporting inbound message spikes during launches, holidays, shipping delays, or high-volume moments.
Engagement Execution & Optimization: Execute and optimize engagement initiatives in partnership with the Social Lead by identifying opportunities to increase replies, saves, shares, and positive sentiment while supporting social listening efforts and surfacing actionable insights.
UGC Curation & Community-to-Content Bridge: Identify and curate high-quality UGC on all social channels, collaborate with the brand community team to source customer stories, brief UGC needs for campaigns, and serve as the bridge between social strategy and our engaged Facebook & Circle user communities to ensure cohesion across the customer journey.
Publishing, Calendar & Workflow Support: Support content scheduling, publishing, and calendar management across all platforms while identifying timely cultural moments and trend opportunities to enhance relevance and engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment: Partner closely with social, CX, brand marketing, paid, publishing, and community teams to ensure engagement efforts align with business goals, game launches, IP partnerships, and broader marketing initiatives.
This is a foundational hire as Nex builds its in-house social team. You’ll help shape how we engage families, support our biggest launches, and build a social audience that grows with us. While this role is focused on our social community today, there is opportunity to evolve as the team scales.
