Our Sales Professionals are responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. This position includes four broad areas of activity: personal work habits, prospecting, selling, and follow-up.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prioritize customer satisfaction by determining each customer's vehicle needs through active listening and questioning.
- Demonstrate vehicles, including test drives, and deliver vehicles while ensuring customers understand operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership productivity standards and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Maintain prospect development and owner follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Stay current with incoming inventory, features, accessories, and product technological changes to benefit customers.
- Understand automobile industry terminology, federal and state retail auto sales laws, equity values, and depreciation concepts.
- Coordinate with the service department and body shop to ensure vehicle reconditioning meets expectations and timelines.
- Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, activities, and performance analyses.
- Attend dealership and manufacturer sales meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any accidents to management.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- At least 1-3 years of Sales dealership, and/or customer facing Sales experience.
- Honda Brand experience a plus.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.
Required:
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.
