Job Overview:
We are looking for strong Diagnostic Automotive Technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
- Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests.
- ASE A1-A8 Certifications Preferred or path to gain within first year
- Bonus for Master's seeking to earn L1 certification
- 5+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- Excellent automotive diagnostic skills
- A strong investment in tools
- Ability to Flag 40+ hours per week and meet workflow time management demands.
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles including European.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
