  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with over 10 years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data architectures.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to define data strategies, design data models, and guide teams in implementing robust and automated data solutions using PySpark, SQL, Databricks and Azure Data Services.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • 1. Stakeholder Collaboration: ○ Partner with business and technical teams to understand requirements and define data strategies. ○ Communicate and align data architecture with enterprise and cloud standards.
  • 2. Data Architecture & Design: ○ Develop architecture specifications, design documentation, and conceptual/logical data models. ○ Guide teams on model optimization, query performance, and notebook enhancements.
  • 3. Data Modeling & Integration: ○ Design blueprints for data storage, ingestion, and integration across diverse systems. ○ Define connectivity patterns and ensure efficient data flow and normalization.
  • 4. SQL & Performance Optimization: ○ Develop and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple databases. ○ Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance efficiency.
  • 5. Implementation, Automation & Support: ○ Lead development teams through data architecture implementation and post-go-live support. ○ Design automation frameworks for data ingestion, quality checks, and pipeline orchestration. ○ Experience in AI/ML-driven optimizations to improve data accuracy, performance, and predictive capabilities.
  • 6. Technical Expertise: ○ Hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Notebooks. ○ Expert in code versioning tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket. ○ Strong understanding of ETL design, data pipelines, and data lifecycle management in cloud environments. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, modeling, or data engineering. • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database systems. • Hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Azure Data Services. • Solid background in data modeling, normalization, ETL frameworks, and automation tools.
  • • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts for data processing or analytics enhancement. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding data development efforts.
  • • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are required. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). • Knowledge of data governance, security, and metadata management. • Exposure to big data frameworks, automation pipelines, and modern data warehousing technologies.
