This role provides the opportunity to shape the future of digital asset services within a fast-growing financial ecosystem. You will design and implement backend systems that power secure, scalable, and high-performance cryptocurrency products. The position involves building APIs, event-driven architectures, and services that ensure trust and reliability for millions of users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including platform and infrastructure engineers, to maintain observability, resilience, and performance standards. Accountabilities:

Develop and maintain backend services that enable digital asset transactions and crypto product functionality

Design APIs and event-driven architectures to support high-volume, secure, and efficient transaction processing

Partner with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure system scalability, resilience, and observability

Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and tooling to enhance team standards

Collaborate closely with product, platform, and security teams to deliver reliable, production-grade services

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience in backend or distributed systems development

Proven track record building production-grade APIs and financial services at scale

Proficiency in Node.js or similar backend frameworks (TypeScript, NestJS, Go, Java)

Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and AWS environments

Experience with event-driven or microservice-based systems

Strong communication and collaboration skills with product and engineering teams

Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of driving projects from conception to delivery
