Bar Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Bar Supervisor to join our vibrant team here at Radisson Blu Hotel, Bodø. As a Bar Supervisor, you bring a heightened level of ambition, have a unique flare and are able to lead and inspire the team to create the “Wow Factor” for our guests.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the bar team during service, ensuring all aspects of the guest food and beverage experience are delivered to the highest standards, maximizing guest satisfaction and comfort, and ensuring full compliance with property and company standards.
• Support bar menu maintenance and continuous improvement, regularly evaluating and enhancing the bar’s offering including menu items, promotions, activations, and events. Ensure consistent execution of beverage recipes, portioning, presentation, and service style. 
• Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
• Supports the delivery on plans and objectives where food & beverage initiatives & hotel targets are achieved.
• Promote a culture of growth, development, and high performance, supporting onboarding and training of new hires, coaching the team, and contributing to performance improvement, while actively promoting company culture and values. 
• Accountable for stocktake accuracy and stock ordering, ensuring compliance with procedures, maintaining optimal stock availability, and minimizing waste, loss, and breakage. 
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.

Qualifications

• A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member supervision.
• Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions with proven problem-solving capabilities offering support where required.
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy.
• Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.
• Strong communication skills.
