We are looking for a Credentialing Specialist to join our Behavioral Health division. This is a full-time non-exempt position. The compensation range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour.

What You Will Do:

  • Complete enrollment/credentialing and re-credentialing applications for individuals and group practices.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary liaison for contracting, credentialing, and enrollment with participating customers, ensuring clear and timely communication on project tasks and deadlines.
  • Maintain a detailed log of all pending and completed work.
  • Communicate the results and status of the applications to physicians, payers, managers, and co-workers. 
  • Maintenance of physician enrollment and CAQH profiles.
  • Documentation within enrollment database.
  • Coordinate signatures.
  • Payer processing and research.
  • Involves extensive phone work and internet. 
  • Research and resolve claim issues related to physician enrollment. 
  • Other tasks as needed.

What it takes to join the family:

  • Proven experience managing credentialing processes across multiple states for individual providers and group practices, ensuring compliance with varying regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in the medical billing field and/or healthcare provider relations.
  • Customer service, client relations, and claims resolutions experience is a must.
  • Strong familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid programs, as well as experience working with healthcare facilities and institutions, is highly valuable.
  • Professional demeanor with a self-starter attitude.
  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with customer service focused aptitude.
  • Must be a team player and highly self-motivated. 
  • Strong reporting expertise with ability to provide status reports and escalation where necessary. 
  • Experience with Ketamine therapy and Spravato credentialing and enrollment preferred but not required.

  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
