Billing Customer Service Representative (Radiology) | Permanent WFH

We are seeking a service-oriented Billing Customer Service Representative with a strong background in radiology billing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of insurance and patient billing, and experience handling patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to patient inquiries regarding bills, insurance claims, and payment status
• Review and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and effectively explain them to patients
• Manage patient billing, collections, and payment processing
• Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve claim issues and discrepancies
• Utilize billing software (with MergeRIS experience strongly preferred) to process and track billing activities
• Provide accurate and timely customer support to patients, ensuring a positive service experience
• Assist with reporting, reconciliation, and documentation of billing activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing and customer service
• Radiology billing experience required
• Proficiency with MergeRIS; familiarity with Imagine software is a plus
• Strong knowledge of patient billing, insurance claims, EOBs, and collections
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and service-driven mindset

Work-from-Home Device Requirement:

• Device: Personal computer with Intel Core i5 or higher, or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
• Internet: Wired connection with at least 50 Mbps download speed, plus a backup connection (e.g., mobile hotspot or prepaid Wi-Fi)
• Work Environment: Quiet, well-lit space with minimal background noise
