Role Overview
Focus on BIM for corridor utilities, diversions, crossings, service corridors, and ROW coordination to support constructability and interface control.
Key Responsibilities
- Model wet/dry utilities, utility corridors, diversions, culverts and crossings.
- Support utility clash detection with track works/structures and resolve interfaces.
- Prepare model-driven layouts and quantity support for design and tender packages.
- Coordinate with hydrology/drainage teams and geotechnical/structures for constraints.
- Ensure all changes are tracked in CDE with robust revision control.
- Build/maintain Civil 3D/InfraWorks/Revit corridor and civil BIM models.
- Coordinate interfaces with structures, drainage, utilities, and station approaches.
- Produce model-based outputs: plans/profiles/sections, quantities, and coordination views.
- Support clash detection, model QA checks, and BEP/ISO 19650 compliance.
- Maintain deliverables within ACC/ProjectWise; support issue tracking and resolutions.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 10 years on large infrastructure utility/linear corridor BIM.
- Strong grasp of ISO 19650 principles, coordination practices, and QA/QC
- Strong knowledge of BIM workflows, model QA, and coordination processes.
- Experience working under client standards/BEPs and controlled document environments.
