Boiler Operator
The main purpose of the Operator role is to safely operate and maintain defined Utilities equipment and related process in order to achieve optimal effectiveness
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Boiler start up and shut down
- Coal banking
- Optimize production processes
- Perform quality checks
- Record of coal deliveries
- Operate utilities plant and equipment
- Record and calculate water and coal usages
- Report failures
Qualifications
- National Diploma or N6 in Mechanical Engineering
- Numeracy and Engineering skills are a pre-requisite
- 5 yrs Boiler experience
- Good knowledge John Thompson Boilers
- Basic knowledge of production processes
- Self starter
- Logical thinker
