We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper based in the Philippines to support our day-to-day finance operations as we continue to scale globally.Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a fully remote role focused on maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting payroll and expense administration across our Australia and U.S. entities. You’ll primarily partner with the Financial Controller, with limited interaction across the business to resolve expense and transaction queries.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on transactional finance, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Position Summary:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper based in the Philippines to support our day-to-day finance operations as we continue to scale globally.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a fully remote role focused on maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting payroll and expense administration across our Australia and U.S. entities. You’ll primarily partner with the Financial Controller, with limited interaction across the business to resolve expense and transaction queries.

💻 How You’ll Create Impact

* Perform daily bank reconciliations in Xero across two entities
* Process accounts payable invoices, including coding, validation, and approval workflows
* Manage and reconcile corporate credit card transactions through Brex and Airwallex
* Review, verify, and process employee expense reimbursements and card spend via Rippling
* Support payroll administration in Rippling. Run quarterly audits to ensure accuracy. Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment. 
* Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Xero
* Assist with month-end close by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
* Maintain accurate vendor and expense records and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
* Respond to internal finance queries in a timely, professional manner
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, and documentation

✅ What We Need From You

* 3+ years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounts officer role
* Strong hands-on experience with bank reconciliations and accounts payable
* Experience using cloud-based accounting systems (Xero strongly preferred)
* Familiarity with expense management and corporate card platforms
* High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
* Comfortable working across multiple entities, currencies, and systems
* Clear communicator who can work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
* Based in the Philippines with the ability to work fully remotely and collaborate across time zones

🌟 Nice to Have

* Experience with Dext, Brex, Airwallex, and Rippling
* Exposure to payroll administration in Australia and/or the United States
* Experience in a SaaS or high-growth startup environment
* Familiarity with month-end close processes
