Job Title: Brand Ambassador – Planters Peanuts
Position Overview:
As a Planters Peanuts Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of our brand during the Etobicoke Santa Claus Parade. You’ll engage with parade attendees, create a memorable brand experience, and foster connections with the community, bringing Mr. Peanut’s spirit to life. The successful candidate will support parade-day operations as either the Mascot or Mascot Handler, depending on assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the public and contribute to the success of the Planters Peanuts brand,
Location: Etobicoke, ON (Dwight Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard West and ends near Long Branch Avenue)
Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 CAD hourly
Date: December 6th, timing TBD.
Role Requirements:
- High energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to walk several kilometers during the parade
- Comfortable with morning shifts
- Reliable, professional, and able to interact positively with the public
- Looking for a BA due to the updated event date
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and Educate: Interact with customers, answering questions about Planters Peanuts products, and providing product samples.
- Represent the Brand: Embody the values and energy of Planters Peanuts, creating an inviting and enthusiastic environment.
- Event Setup: Assist with setting up promotional materials, ensuring the display area is organized and visually appealing.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and relay feedback from customers to help improve the brand experience.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe display area throughout the event.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for engaging with people.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or promotional roles is a plus.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent organizational skills.
- Available on specified dates and able to travel to each location in the Toronto area.
