Business Analyst – Human Pharma Data (m/f/d)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst to support our Human Pharma organization with expert knowledge in pharma‑specific external data. If you're passionate about transforming your knowledge about commercial, real‑world evidence and other data sources into business value — and enjoy working closely with stakeholders and data vendors — this role is for you.

While typically no working hands‑on technical, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, bringing structure, clarity, and business understanding to a wide range of data‑related topics.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the internal expert for commercial, sales, and real‑world evidence (RWE/RWD) data in the pharmaceutical area.
• Support the business in understanding and leveraging externally sourced data to drive insights and decision‑making.
• Work closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Medical, Analytics, and IT to gather requirements and ensure data meets business needs.
• Support managing relationships with external data vendors (e.g., IQVIA or similar) and monitor data quality, delivery timelines, and methodologies.
• Facilitate discussions, workshops, and presentations with senior stakeholders.
• Quickly adapt to new topics, therapeutic areas, and data domains as business priorities evolve.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• 5+ years experience working with pharmaceutical external data (e.g., commercial data, sales data, RWE/RWD, customer or market data).
• Strong understanding of pharma business processes and how data supports them.
• Experience collaborating with vendors like IQVIA is a plus.
• Experience with IT Consulting
• Excellent communication skills, with a professional and customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to learn fast, switch between topics, and handle complexity.
• Fluent in German and English. German is a strong plus
