Business Analyst – IT & Market Research Focus

Polygon Technology is looking for a Business Analyst with a strong IT background and a passion for research, documentation, and tender preparation. This role is ideal for someone with 1+ years of experience who can analyze market trends, interpret data, and translate findings into actionable insights and structured business and tender documentation.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and eager to collaborate with product, business, sales, and technical teams to support strategic decisions, client proposals, and project planning.

• Conduct in depth market research and competitive analysis to support business, product, and tender strategies

• Prepare comprehensive business documentation including research briefs, BRDs, SRS, user stories, MoUs, and pitch decks

• Prepare and manage tender documentation including EOI, RFP, RFQ responses, technical proposals, compliance matrices, scope of work, methodology, deliverables, timelines, and pricing support documents

• Analyze tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and evaluation matrices to ensure full compliance and accurate submission

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Product, Engineering, UX, and Management to gather and document functional and non functional requirements

• Translate business and client needs into clear, structured, and submission ready documentation

• Analyze industry trends, customer behavior, and emerging technologies in the IT and digital services domain

•  Track business KPIs and prepare performance, progress, and research reports

• Organize findings into actionable insights contributing to business strategy, client proposals, and internal planning

•  Support client facing proposal development for banking, government, and enterprise projects

•  Maintain document quality, version control, and submission timelines for tenders and proposals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, Market Research Analyst, or a similar role preferably in an IT or technology company

• Strong research, analytical, and documentation skills with a solid understanding of IT services and digital products

• Hands on experience in creating structured documents such as BRDs, MoUs, EOIs, RFP responses, pitch decks, and requirement documents

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bengali

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data visualization tools, and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace and Notion

• High attention to detail, logical thinking, and a proactive work mindset

⚡️ Preference Will Be Given To:

• Candidates with prior experience in preparing or supporting tender, EOI, and proposal documentation for IT or digital transformation projects

• Individuals who can present research findings and proposal content clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders
