The Business Analyst Venture Building role is a strategic catalyst for turning market signals into validated growth opportunities. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to identify compelling ventures, shape viable business cases, and steward concepts from idea to learning driven validation. This position blends analytical rigor with entrepreneurial energy to drive outcomes that matter for customers and the business alike. You will conduct rigorous market analysis to size opportunities, map customer needs, and understand competitive dynamics. You will translate market intelligence into actionable opportunities and craft business cases that articulate the value proposition, revenue model, pricing strategy, channel approach, cost structure, and financial projections including unit economics and ROI. Your insights will inform prioritization and guide the strategic roadmap for new ventures within the organization. Rapid prototyping and experimentation are at the core of your approach. You will define learning agendas with clear hypotheses, success criteria, and test plans, and you will partner with design and engineering to rapid prototype MVPs, pilots, or low fidelity experiments that produce measurable data. You will evaluate results, iterate quickly, and decide on next steps in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring that every venture concept moves through a disciplined validation cycle while maintaining speed and momentum. Cross functional collaboration is essential. You will facilitate alignment across product management, design, engineering, data, and operations, translating market signals into product concepts and helping translate insights into concrete roadmaps. You will create compelling, decision ready materials for leadership and stakeholders, contribute to go to market planning, and ensure agreed delivery milestones across disciplines. Your influence will help teams work together efficiently toward a shared venture objective. As a contributor to the venture building practice, your responsibilities will include managing the lifecycle of venture concepts from discovery through validation, maintaining a hypothesis library, and tracking the metrics that define success. You will advocate for customer centric decisions, present findings to executives, and support scalable operating models that can be extended to future ventures. What you will bring includes a bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field and 4 to 7 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, product analytics, corporate development, or management consulting. You have experience in venture building or new product development and a track record of translating data into compelling business cases. You are proficient with market sizing, scenario planning, and financial modeling and comfortable using tools such as Excel or Sheets, SQL, or data visualization platforms. You communicate clearly and persuasively, can influence without authority, and thrive in fast paced environments with ambiguity. You are a collaborative teammate who enjoys working with product, design, and engineering to turn insights into impact. Please share your resume and a short note describing a market opportunity you analyzed or a business case you developed and the impact it had. ## Responsibilities • Lead market research efforts to identify target customer segments, competitive dynamics, and total addressable market, delivering actionable insights within two weeks of project kickoff. • Build business cases and financial models (revenue, costs, cash flows, and ROI) to evaluate venture viability and inform investment and prioritization decisions. • Support rapid prototyping by translating insights into MVP scope, defining success metrics, and guiding cross-functional teams to iterate quickly. • Collaborate with cross-functional squads (product, engineering, design, data, marketing, and operations) to align on problem framing, requirements, and milestones, ensuring synchronized delivery. • Track performance metrics across ventures by establishing dashboards, defining KPIs, and providing regular performance updates to leadership and squads. • Conduct risk analysis and scenario planning to identify critical assumptions, quantify potential impacts, and develop mitigation strategies. • Evaluate strategic partnerships and business development opportunities by performing due diligence, modeling value creation, and outlining partnership terms and risks. • Translate strategic hypotheses into testable experiments, oversee experiment design, and measure outcomes to inform prioritization and roadmap adjustments.
