This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager - Aftermarket Parts, National Accounts in the United States.
In this role, you will drive national account growth for aftermarket parts and service solutions within the bus, commercial vehicle, and industrial markets. You will work closely with corporate and local stakeholders to identify opportunities, build long-term relationships, and implement strategic sales initiatives. This position requires a combination of market research, relationship management, pricing strategy, and direct client engagement to achieve revenue targets and support business expansion. Success in this role comes from a mix of strategic thinking, proactive communication, and a customer-first mindset. You will have the opportunity to influence corporate strategies, work cross-functionally, and make a measurable impact on organizational growth. The role also involves frequent travel to meet with key accounts and support regional initiatives.

Accountabilities:

  • Drive parts sales within national accounts, developing and executing both short- and long-term strategies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, conduct market research, and monitor competitor activity
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and local account stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Lead meetings, presentations, and training sessions to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Design pricing strategies and national agreement terms while maximizing margin in competitive situations
  • Track sales activities and provide timely reporting, forecasts, and market analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities and support business growth initiatives
  • Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; college degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in parts, bus, commercial vehicle, or industrial markets
  • Proven ability to manage national accounts and develop strong client relationships
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), Microsoft Office, and data visualization tools (Power BI)
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time
