Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to support the continued expansion of our multi-division staffing and consulting services. This role is focused on acquiring new client partnerships, opening new hiring accounts, and expanding existing relationships across multiple industries.
This is a performance-based, commission-driven role designed for professionals who excel at outbound prospecting, relationship building, and closing service agreements. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating autonomously, managing a full sales cycle, and developing long-term client partnerships that generate ongoing hiring demand.
High performers will have access to strong operational support, recruiting delivery teams, and leadership involvement to help scale accounts once they are secured.
Business Development Managers may pursue and develop accounts across one or more of the following verticals:
- Logistics & Transportation
- IT & Software Engineering
- Engineering & Skilled Trades
- Clinical & Healthcare
- Legal & Professional Services
- Federal & Government Staffing
- Administrative & Corporate Support
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new client partnerships through outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking
- Engage decision-makers (HR, Talent, Operations, Executives) to understand hiring needs and workforce challenges
- Present Cooperidge’s staffing and consulting solutions across multiple service lines
- Negotiate service agreements, fee structures, and engagement terms
- Secure new job orders and onboard new client accounts
- Collaborate with internal recruiting and account management teams to ensure smooth handoff after close
- Maintain accurate prospect and client activity within CRM systems
- Build long-term client relationships to generate repeat and expanded business
- Contribute to territory and vertical growth strategy
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business development, staffing sales, or professional services sales
- Proven ability to generate new business and close service-based contracts
- Experience selling staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions strongly preferred
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Comfortable with outbound calling, email prospecting, and relationship-driven sales
- Organized, disciplined, and able to manage a full sales pipeline independently
- CRM experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

This is a commission-based independent contractor role with uncapped earning potential. Compensation is paid based on revenue generated from closed and retained client accounts, with ongoing residual income from active placements depending on client structure.
