To support the strategic growth of Manufacturing Indonesia series by identifying and securing new opportunities aligned with the 3-Year Plan (3YP), including:

  • Launching new vertical segments or co-located events
  • Identify white space and new markets
  • Developing partnerships and monetization opportunities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Development

  • Support the Portfolio Director in executing the 3YP, including opportunity analysis, market studies and Go To Market strategy
  • Conduct market analysis to identify untapped verticals (e.g., automation, aftermarket, packaging, etc.) and growth clusters.
  • Evaluate co-location opportunities with aligned events or sectors.

2. Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and manage relationships with industry associations, key buyers, embassies, and government stakeholders.
  • Source potential co-location or strategic partners, including international organizers or commercial partners.

3. Sales Development

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and convert new exhibitor segments, especially first-timers and/or international companies.
  • Support sponsorship acquisition for new features or content areas.

4. Research & Reporting

  • Conduct competitive analysis and gather market feedback to inform development decisions.
  • Provide regular reports and business cases to guide management decisions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in business development, ideally in B2B exhibitions, industrial sectors, or related industries.
  • Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and partnership-building skills.
  • Confident communicator—able to present ideas, pitch new features, and influence decisions.
  • Analytical, structured thinker with solid research and reporting capabilities.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
