Role Purpose


Support our Sales Development team by building up the sales operations for a brand-new vertical in the German photography industry, build connections between photographers and clients, and support our sales efforts by researching and acquiring new leads. This role is designed as an entry point into SaaS sales and business development, providing exposure to pipeline creation, CRM processes, SalesOps and customer interactions.

Your main focus will be:

  • Lead research and acquisition

  • Handling inbound lead calls and emails

  • Support in shaping the sales operation for a new vertical

  • Maintaining clean data in HubSpot and Airtable and ensuring follow-up discipline

You’ll work closely with the Business Development and Strategy teams to support the go-to-market motion for a brand new vertical in the photography space.

Key Responsibilities


Lead Research & Qualification

  • Research leads to ensure fit (company size, location, potential volume)

  • Apply basic qualification frameworks (e.g. BANT, ICP checks)

  • Keep lead and account data up to date in HubSpot and/or Airtable

Lead Acquisition & Nurturing

  • Call inbound/outbound leads to confirm interest and gather initial information

  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone and email

  • Build and manage your own portfolio with direct revenue impact

CRM Hygiene, Reporting and Process Optimization

  • Enter and update all interactions in HubSpot and/or Airtable

  • Track lead status, activity, and conversion rates

  • Drive process optimization initiatives within SalesOps

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with Strategy, Sales & Marketing

  • Share insights from conversations with Sales and Marketing teams

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes

Must‑Have Experience

  • Currently enrolled student (Business, Economics, Communications, or similar)

  • Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone manner (Fluent German)

  • Comfortable speaking with new people and asking qualifying questions

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in follow-up

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Previous internship or working student experience in Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service

  • Familiarity with SaaS / tech industry sales cycles or interest in photography

  • Basic understanding of CRM systems (HubSpot or Airtable experience a plus)

  • Interest in (agentic) A.I., automatisation and process optimization

  • Interest in developing a career in Sales or Business Development

• Based in Berlin, with hybrid flexibility (remote + in-office days)
• Part-time working student position (15–20 hours per week during the semester; up to 40 hours during breaks)
