The Role You'll Play
The Business Security Partnership team serves as a critical bridge between Playlist’s cyber security initiatives and the rest of the company, playing a pivotal role in proactively embedding scalable security practices across our organization. The ideal BSP team members are experienced security professionals with a deep understanding of cyber security principles, risk and vulnerability management, and technical acumen, who are passionate about executing impactful and highly critical security initiatives that maintain high-quality, business-aligned security across our vertical SaaS ecosystem.
- Support leaders and individual contributors across our brands and functions in integrating security best practices into the product development and/or go-to-market lifecycles, learning organizational structure and business goals while tracking security issues and escalating complex risks
- Support teams in addressing known security risks and assist in implementing remediation plans in partnership with Cyber Security teams
- Help translate security topics for non-technical partners, building communication skills and business acumen
- Track security issues, support exception handling, and escalate complex risks to senior team members
- Coordinate with department heads in Enterprise Systems, Product Security, GRC, and Cyber Defense to help ensure initiatives are communicated across the business
- Learn how software development practices comply with relevant security policies and regulations by participating in security assessments, supporting audit readiness activities, and collaborating with teams on control implementation
- Participate in Cyber Security strategic discussions and support efforts to measure and track progress on security initiatives
- Stay current on security trends, tools, and technologies relevant to the fitness and wellness vertical SaaS space
The Experience You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or other technical field
- 2-4 years of information security and/or technology experience
- Some exposure to security advisory, consulting, or collaboration roles, preferably in a SaaS or software development context
- Solid understanding of key security principles and practices
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts, secure SDLC, DevSecOps fundamentals, and key compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, HITRUST)
- Ability to operate with autonomy on routine tasks while seeking support for complex decisions
- Good communication skills with eagerness to develop the ability to explain security concepts to diverse audiences
- Passionate about continuous learning and excited to execute impactful security initiatives

The goal of Playlist's compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees, and encourage Team Members to stay with our organization. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
The base salary range for this position in the United States is $90,000 to $125,000. The total compensation package for this position may also include a performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans
