Butcher

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking a Butcher to join its team. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for selecting, cutting, and preparing various cuts of meat, as well as monitoring and maintaining proper storage and inventory of meat products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, excellent knife skills, and a strong understanding of meat quality and cuts taken care of by following the company’s SOPs. Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meats according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Ensure the highest quality of meat products, including proper storage and handling
• Collaborate with other culinary professionals to maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following proper food handling and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of meat products and supplies
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Butcher in a professional kitchen or culinary establishment
• In-depth knowledge of different meat cuts and carving techniques
• Exceptional knife skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
