Position Title: Systems Engineer III

Location: San Diego, CA

Position Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000

Security Clearance Requirement: Position requires active security clearance

Years of Experience: 7+ years experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure communication systems that allow military aircraft, ships, and ground units to share critical tactical information in real-time.

Requirements

• Minimum seven (7) years’ of demonstrated technical experience within the last ten (10) years in:
• All phases of military data link: testing, requirements analysis, definition, design specifications, integration, system installation, and training for complex military systems.
• Preparation and review of technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, and other systems integration and test-related documents.
• Planning and executing DoD Functional Qualification Testing (FQT) and troubleshooting of Software Defined Radio (SDR) or comparable systems.
• Analysis of SDR functional requirements and test objectives; test planning; test architecture definition and configuration; test execution, data reduction, analysis, and reporting.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• Seven (7) years of demonstrated technical experience within the last ten (10) years to include:
• Systems engineering in support of Multifunction Information Distribution System (MIDS) Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), Airborne Maritime Fixed (AMF), or similar software-defined radio systems.
• Leading analysis of new Functional Baseline requirements for MIDS JTRS software, including FPGA Link 16 waveform and Operating Environment (OE) software.
