Camera Sensor Technology Engineer focusing on the development and integration of camera optics, image sensors, and optoelectronic technologies tailored for automotive applications in both human and computer vision. The successful candidate will work closely with Chinese customers to interpret and adapt their technical needs into camera solutions, while collaborating with a global cross-functional product team.
1-Develop and integrate camera optics, image sensors, and optoelectronic components for automotive applications in human and computer vision.
2-Interpret and adapt Chinese customer requirements into tailored camera system designs.
3-Collaborate with a global cross-functional product team to align market development activities.
4-Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for project planning, milestone tracking, and technical alignment.
5-Support application project module design and sensor integration across optics, mechanics, and electronics, including image quality improvement, simulation, and calibration activities with customers.
6-Engage in demonstration, promotional, and acquisition activities to support business expansion and advanced engineering.
7-Support production teams with sample definition, delivery, and improvements to production test systems aligned with customer requirements.
8-Contribute to specification, benchmarking, and optimization of optics and image sensors for current and future camera generations.
9-Document and manage requirements, specifications, and knowledge related to automotive camera sensor technologies.
10-Take ownership of technical topics and coordinate cross-functional input without formal leadership responsibilities.
Qualifications
1-University degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Physics, or a related field.
2-Knowledge and hands-on experience in image sensor technology, optics, and optoelectronic component development and evaluation (including measurement and quality assessment).
3-Experience in developing automotive camera systems, including test and production systems, with familiarity with automotive development processes.
4-Proficiency in requirements engineering, documentation, and requirements management.
5-Practical experience with automotive quality and reliability methodologies such as FMEA and DRBFM.
6-Experience working with Chinese OEMs (JOEM) and direct customer collaboration.
7-Ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural, and cross-functional team environment.
8-Strong ownership of technical topics, problem-solving skills, and ability to coordinate input across disciplines.
9-Fluent or business-level proficiency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken), along with strong communication skills.
