Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part Time NOC Shift

What you will do in this role:   In our facility we feel the CNA is pivotal to the satisfaction of a patient/resident.  This is a predominantly behavioral health population - Come and make a direct impact on our patient’s recovery and stay.  You will help patients reach their goals and work side by side with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. 

• You'll be joining an awesome Certified Nursing Assistant team; they do whatever is needed to make the patient more comfortable.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Sometimes called a Certified Nurse (or Nurse’s) Assistant or Aide.

What we need from you:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in IL
• Prior experience in a behavioral health or skilled nursing facility is ideal 
• Electronic medical records experience (Point Click Care) is helpful

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT.  We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.

• Salary:  $18.75 - $25.25/hour based on experience
• Status:  Part-time, 2-3 shifts per week, with an every other weekend rotation
• Shift:  NOC/Overnight shift 
  • 11pm - 7am, with an every other weekend rotation required

A little more about our center:

Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is an inner-city skilled nursing facility (SNF) with 5 floors and an average census of 160+.  We have and multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health (many formerly indigent) population.

• The average age of our patients is 35-55 and the most common diagnoses are schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depressive disorders.
• Many are able to age in place, and about 25% return to the community.
• We have several programs encouraging engagement, but the most popular spot in our center is the game room.
