Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - PRN - Night Shift
Yoakum Community Hospital is on the lookout for dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our compassionate team for PRN night shifts! This is your chance to make a significant impact on the lives of patients during the night hours.
In this engaging role, you will:
- Provide personalized patient care while supporting our Nursing Service policies
- Foster a safe and healing environment for our patients through attentive and respectful interactions
- Advocate for patient needs to ensure they are met with the highest standards of care
- Collaborate effectively with families, patients, and clinical staff to create an exceptional care experience
- Utilize equipment and supplies efficiently and responsibly
- Be prepared for flexible assignments across different care areas when needed
- Adhere to all relevant state and federal guidelines to maintain patient safety
- Maintain composure in high-pressure situations, handling challenges with grace
- Accept and complete assigned tasks that align with your training and certification
- Respond to patient requests promptly with empathy and professionalism
- Document all patient interactions and care in accurate records
- Contribute to our continuous quality improvement efforts and initiatives
- Follow all policies outlined in the Yoakum Community Hospital Employee Handbook
- Take on additional duties as directed by your supervisor for seamless operations
Requirements
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Texas
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Valid CPR certification
