The Role
Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, the full-time Chef de Cuisine must be familiar with all daily operations in an Events & Conferencing kitchen. The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for leading a professional culinary team ensuring that the kitchen operates as a successful profit centre by organising, directing, and controlling production and administration in accordance with Crown’s standards and policies. This role is responsible for supporting and implementing culinary operations in line with concept statements to deliver against set financial and people targets.
About You
- Experience in luxury hotels - highly desirable
- Skilled in International Cuisine and large-scale events
- Set a leading example and inspire a team of kitchen professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and satisfy internal and external stakeholder needs.
- Strong financial, organisational and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and adaptable.
- Proficiency in tech applications such as Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
- Relevant hospitality qualification in Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent
